Snowdonia's Early Fieldscapes
Posted on 12.05.2022 - 09:44 by Emily La Trobe-Bateman
The collection comprises two GIS datasets created during doctoral research exploring later prehistoric landscapes of Snowdonia.
The research involved mapping archaeological features that could be observed on detailed topographic models. Innovative geospatial and geostatistical methods were developed to assess cohesion, preservation and character. Rich attribute fields and new derived datasets were created through this analysis.
